Bio

Daughter of a Dutch studio painter, Evani spent her early years in the Netherlands and grew up in Australia. After first working extensively in mixed media she moved into oils and acrylics. Tonalist in direction, the rich surfaces of her works reflect her love of nature, landscape and travel and most often recall sensation and memory, rather than time, subject, or place. In 2014 she moved from California to New England and currently resides by the Lieutenant River in Old Lyme, Connecticut, where she is an active Studio and Plein-Air painter, capturing in paint and photography the beauty of this unique area. Her paintings are represented in collections in Europe, Australia, and the United States.
