My work explores dichotomies, often utilizing the motif of rain. A storm can be both chaotic and steady. It can blind you and make things clear. It can destroy and rebuild. Many of my recent paintings use one or more of these ideas in the form of rigid patterns incorporated into flowing shapes and forms
About Rafael
Rafael Lino is an artist and graphic designer based in Southeastern CT. He attended the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford where he received a BA in Illustration. He is a member of the Graphic Artists Guild and Society of Illustrators in NYC. Some of his clients include Brown University, Cornell University, United States Tennis Association, United States Department of Energy and others.
