When approaching the canvas, I am unsure if the process will be heavily marked, textured, or quiet. I am not looking to reveal or conceal, to clarify or dissolve, I am searching for a presence of paint and a conflict in color, bold or perhaps subdued.

About Theresa

 A native of Providence, RI and involved in art from an early age, Theresa attended Community College of Rhode Island, CE Programs RISD, Penn Studio School of Art and SMFA Tufts. Ms. Girard is a nationally sought after facilitator of a variety of “workshops for creative people.” She is represented by several galleries throughout the country. Her painterly abstractions have been featured in national publications including Art Magazine, Palette Magazine, Art Collector, Florida Design, Gulfshore Life, Elle Decor, Home and Design, and Architectural Digest.
